No offense, but if you go train with Roy and expect to win... Better hope your opponent is an idiot

I don't live in Wise County anymore. I've rolled with him before, and I've tapped him... and God knows, I'm not the best in the world

I've judged some his fights and although he seems like a nice guy he certainly didn't seem anywhere near skilled enough to be teaching.

    Re: MMA training

no, there's a difference between showing and teaching... and Roy shouldn't be qualified to teach MMA.

and no, you have to be good in something to teach it and explain it to someone.

    Re: MMA training

I guess in my previous post I should have said that he didn't seem knowledgeable enough to teach instead of "skilled enough". Of course he isn't the only one in the area who isn't qualified to teach but is anyway. IMO there are only a handful of people in the immediate area qualified to teach, and a couple of those aren't teaching at this time.

    Re: MMA training

I'm sorry, but if I could tap Roy w/relative ease when I was down training with Team FAST...that pretty much tells you he doesn't need to be teaching...because I'll be the first to tell you I had next to no talent regarding MMA/grappling.
